GAS COMPANY MAY BE LIABLE FOR INJURIES AND HOME EXPLOSION MASONVILLE, NEW YORK (July 16, 2016)  A 31-year-old man is in critical condition after a home explosion on Wednesday when he attempted to light a propane hot water heater in the basement, according to 12 Action News. Authorities have been able to identify the man that was injured as Shayne Charles. Two people that were passing by the home were able to extract the man from the basement of the house. He was later transported to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
