Police have been able to identify the man injured when the propane tank exploded as Shayne Charles. A woman who was outside the house when the accident took place also sustained injuries. GAS COMPANY MAY BE LIABLE FOR INJURIES AND HOME EXPLOSION MASONVILLE, NEW YORK (July 16, 2016)  A 31-year-old man is in critical condition after a home explosion on Wednesday when he attempted to light a propane hot water heater in the basement, according to 12 Action News.
