Most of the time, people arrive at their destinations without incident, but an early morning bus ride into New York City gave some passengers quite a scare. On Oct. 18 around 5:35 a.m. in Rockland County near Sloatsburg, a New York Trailways bus carrying 16 passengers rear-ended a tractor-trailer. It was reported that a guardrail is the only thing that prevented the bus from going into the nearby river.
