The accident happened around 7:15 a.m. and involved a Martz Trailways bus and a NJ Transit bus. Reports indicate that the Martz Trailways bus rear-ended the NJ Transit bus. Port Authority officials say that two people sustained serious injuries in the crash.

However, even more devastating injuries can result when a pedestrian is involved in a bus accident. Around 8 p.m. on Oct. 13, a 54-year-old woman was struck and killed by a Nassau Inter-County Express Bus in Queens. The accident caused fatal injuries, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus accident happened around 7:40 a.m. along Interstate 80 in Wayne Township, New Jersey. Officials say the accident happened as the bus was nearing an exit ramp. Fifty-seven people were on the bus at the time of the accident. Close to two dozen people were taken to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The bus left from Toronto. Reports indicate that passengers were planning to attend a church event in Brooklyn. Authorities are trying to
