Two men were killed on Queens Boulevard on Tuesday. The men, apparently construction workers, were struck by a speeding vehicle and were killed instantly. According to residents, the area is nicknamed the ‘Boulevard of Death’ because there are so many fatal car accidents in the area. Two lawsuits have stemmed from a 2012 collision between an NYPD cruiser and a dirt bike. The 20-year-old driver of the bike died, and the 17-year-old passenger suffered brain damage and paralysis.
