HARLEM: Latyr Sene, 3-Year-Old Toddler, Killed In Fatal Accident After Boy Fell Threw Window on 13th Floor At Harlem River Houses
FATAL ACCIDENT MAY HAVE BEEN PREVENTABLE HARLEM, NEW YORK (July 3, 2016) A three-year-old toddler was killed in a tragic accident at Harlem River Houses when he fell 13 stories after going threw a loosely secured window guard, according to the New York Post. (map) The accident at the housing project in Harlem occurred around 7:20 p.m. Sources familiar with the accident are saying that the bars by the window are supposed to be secured on the outside. But those bars were loose allowing the child to easily fall out of the window to the ground below. Authorities have been able to identify the 3-year-old as Latyr Sene.
