BROOKLYN: Truck Accident Kills 21-Year-Old As He Was Walking Towards His Parked Car

DEADLY ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (December 1, 2016) – A cement truck was involved in a fatal accident on Thursday after it ran over a pedestrian near Kent Avenue, according to NBC News.
It remains unclear how the accident took place. Police interviewed the driver who remained cooperative and stayed at the scene. Authorities have been able to identify the young man that was killed as Moshe Yehuda Weiner.
Weiner appears to have been walking towards his car when he was hit the semi-truck. An ambulance and police rushed to the scene of the accident in order to try to save him, but their attempts were unsuccessful. Moshe Weiner was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness to the accident said that the pedestrian's coat may have gotten caught in the rear tires of the truck. First responders and police arrived at the scene and the pedestrian was later pronounced dead.
