PEDESTRIANS COAT MAY HAVE GOTTEN CAUGHT IN TRUCK TIRES BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (December 1, 2016) – A 21-year-old was killed when a semi-truck ran him over and dragged him for around one block in Williamsburg, according to police. The young man was walking towards his car when a cement truck driver approached him on a narrow street. Somehow, the pedestrian was run over by the rear tires of the semi-truck before being dragged. A horrified witness was able to flag down the driver of the semi-truck in order to get him to stop. The cement truck driver was mortified about what happened and remained at the scene as police came. It remains unclear how the accident happened. One person says that the pedestrian may have been pulled under the truck by his coat. Police will continue to investigate this deadly crash in order to determine liability.
