BUS DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER FATAL CRASH MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (October 22, 2016)
A woman was killed in a tragic MTA bus accident after the driver struck her and dragged her for several blocks, according to ABC News. Authorities have been able to identify the woman that died as Bella-Yury Krementsova. The accident happened on Friday evening in lower Manhattan. The bus initially hit the pedestrian near Whitehall and Water streets. Bella-Yury Krementsova was dragged nearly a half mile to Trinity Place near Exchange Alley. Onlookers tried frantically to get the bus drivers attention so that he would stop. The bus driver was later arrested and charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
