Bus accident leaves eight people injured
Millions of people ride the bus in and around New York City. Most of the time, people arrive at their destinations without incident, but an early morning bus ride into New York City gave some passengers quite a scare. On Oct. 18 around 5:35 a.m. in Rockland County near Sloatsburg, a New York Trailways bus carrying 16 passengers rear-ended a tractor-trailer. It was reported that a guardrail is the only thing that prevented the bus from going into the nearby river. Eight people were injured in the bus accident, but only the driver suffered injuries severe enough to warrant admission to an area hospital. The
