Hospital negligence results in lost legs for New York woman

While undergoing a simple gynecological procedure, a New York woman’s colon was punctured. As a result, the woman suffered from blood poisoning and gangrene, went into cardiac arrest three times in intensive care, lost some of her hearing due to the antibiotics and then had her feet amputated at the ankle. Under the new law, truck drivers and others with a commercial license will not be able to send a text or use their cell phone while stopped. Under New York law, however, other drivers will still be

Brain injuries range in severity, complications and outcomes

A brain injury is particularly hard for the person who was hurt and their loved ones as the prognosis is not always readily available. How well a person will recover β€” and if a full recovery is even possible β€” really all does depend on the person and how the brain injury occurred.
