The man died following a school skiing trip. Now, his widow is suing the doctor who was treating him for hypertension for medical misdiagnosis. She says the doctor failed to diagnose and treat life threatening conditions that ultimately caused the man to suffer a heart attack and die.
After the man’s death, an examination of his heart determined that a major artery was almost entirely blocked. The man’s wife believes the doctor did not properly assess the man’s condition, and failed to seek advice from a heart specialist. She believes the doctor’s negligence was a factor in the man’s untimely death.
Doctors and other medical staff often hold their patient’s life in their hands. People rely on their physicians to give them the best care possible, but that doesn’t always happen.
In this case, the victim’s life was cut short from a preventable condition. If the doctor had properly evaluated the 50-year-old man, he may have been able to treat him, and save his life.
