CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT INJURES 5 PEOPLE IN ROOF COLLAPSE
YONKERS, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – Five people were injured in a freak accident after a Bobcat feel through the roof of a store, according to ABC News.
Police are saying that the Bobcat fell through the National Wholesale Liquidators store on Central Park Avenue.
Around two dozen customers were inside the store at the time of the accident. Witnessses described the scene of the accident as chaotic.
Everyone was screaming and there was a panic after the construction machinery fell.
In addition to the Bobcat falling, a major portion of the roof came down as well.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the roof to collapse, but they said it was a miracle that more people weren’t injured.
