MTA BUS May BE LIABLE IN ACCIDENT QUEENS, NEW YORK (June 28, 2016) – A New York Fire Department Truck crashed into an MTA Bus in an accident that injured 14 people and two firefighters by the intersection of Ditmars Boulevard and 21st Street, according to NBC New York. A dozen passengers on the MTA Bus had to be rushed to Elmburst Hospital after the collision. The Fire Department Truck was responding to a fire that was approximately one mile away and its lights and sirens were on. One witness said that the driver of the MTA bus did not stop for the NYPD truck and instead kept going. At least three other vehicles that were parked were also hit during the crash.
