A 6-year-old boy is dead after a bus crashed into a home in Hempstead, New York. The accident happened late last month around 9:30 p.m. Authorities say a bus driver swerved to miss hitting a pedestrian and crashed into a home where the 6-year-old was asleep. Eleven people were on the bus at the time of the accident. Eight of those people were taken to hospitals in the area to be treated for minor injuries.
