ELDERLY MAN KILLED IN BOX TRUCK ACCIDENT WHILE CROSSING STREET UPPER WEST SIDE, NEW YORK (February 24, 2017) – An 83-year old man was killed as he was crossing the street near Amsterdam Avenue when he was hit by a box truck, according to NBC New York. There is no word yet on what may have caused the accident. The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
