A Queens jury last week awarded $825,000 to a woman who slipped in an Elmont, Long Island supermarket.
Enne Moore claimed she slipped on ice cream in a Gouz Produce Co., at 1717 Dutch Broadway in Nassau County. She claimed she suffered a herniated disk in a back.
The entire award, in a trial presided over by Civil Court Judge John Milano, was for pain and suffering, according to plaintiff’s counsel Rosenberg, Minc, and Armstrong; Alexander V. Sansone, of Manhattan’s Hogan, Jones and Parisi represented the store.
