ELDERLY MAN KILLED IN BOX TRUCK ACCIDENT WHILE CROSSING STREET
UPPER WEST SIDE, NEW YORK (February 24, 2017) – A box truck collision killed a pedestrian early Friday morning near Amsterdam Avenue, according to NBC New York. Authorities are saying that the pedestrian that was killed was 83-years-old, but they have not yet been able to identify his name. Speed does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, but investigators are still looking at everything. Truck accidents can be deadly even at low speeds. The driver remained at the scene of the collision in order to answer questions about what happened.
