FATAL ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION
FREEMONT, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – One person was killed and another person suffered only minor injuries after a Milk Truck crashed after trying to avoid a car that spun out in the middle of the road according to ABC News.
Authorities are still unsure why the car spun out in the middle of the road. However, they were able to identify the person that was killed as Richard Clark.
Cars can spin out in the middle of the road for a variety of different reasons. Sometimes blown tires can lead to a spin-out.
A spin out may also occur after a car hits a slick surface in the road. It is the responsibility of state officials to make sure that roads are properly maintained and grated correctly.
An improperly grated road can lead to the accumulation of liquids which may contribute to a spin out.
After the milk truck crashed it spilled milk all over the roadway which then froze. Emergency medical workers responded to the accident quickly, but they were not able to revive Richard Clark. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The RMFW Law Firm extends its thoughts and prayers to the family of Richard Clark. We encourage anyone that may have scene the accident to come forward and speak with police in order to aid in the investigation.
