COMPANY BEHIND SEMI TRUCK ACCIDENT MAY BE LIABLE FOR DEATHS WAWAYANDA, NEW YORK (June 15, 2015) – A tragic car accident involving a semi-truck killed a 29-year-old mother after the truck ran into the back of the stopped vehicle on Interstate 84. The car involved in the accident appears to have been stopped on the road after it ran out of gas. Authorities have been able to identify the woman killed in the crash as Jesenia Valentin. Two children also died due to their injuries in the freeway collision on I-84. Police were able to identify them as Angelina Rodriguez and Asyria Ferrer. It remains unclear what caused the Freightliner tractor-trailer to crash into the back of the Volkswagon Passat involved in the accident. But the truck driver may not have seen the car or payed close enough attention to the road ahead. Our staff at Rosenberg, Minc, Falkoff & Wolff were absolutely heartbroken to learn about the tragic deaths of Jesenia Valentin and the two children also involved in the crash. We extend our thoughts and prayers to the families who must now cope with such an incredible loss. We encourage any witnesses who may have seen the accident to come forward and report to the police for the sake of the victim’s families. If there is anything at all that we can do in support of her family we would be glad to help at 212-344-1000.
