CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT INJURES 5 PEOPLE IN ROOF COLLAPSE
YONKERS, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – Police are still investigating a roof collapse after a Bobcat fell through the National Wholesale Liquidators store, according to NBC.
Five people were injured when a major portion of the roof came down.
It remains unclear why there was a Bobcat construction vehicle on the top of the building or who put it there.
Emergency medical workers rushed to the scene of the accident in order to tend to those that were injured.
The collapse left a hole in the roof around 30 to 40 feet wide. A number of customers at the store thought that there was an earthquake after the collapse.
