HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT LEAVES PASSENGER CRITICALLY INJURED
QUEENS, NEW YORK (March 12, 2017) – A passenger was left in critical condition after the driver of a vehicle crashed and then took off on foot, according to the NY Post. Police are saying that the vehicle involved in the crash was one of several that were speeding down the road. The driver lost control of his car and then slammed into a tree. The passenger of the vehicle sustained head trauma and internal bleeding He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Police are unsure if this particular accident was part of some sort of a race or why the driver of the car was speeding. Authorities are encouraging anyone that may have seen the crash to contact them.
