FATAL ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATIONFREEMONT, NEW YORK (January 15, 2017) – Authorities are investigating a tragic car accident on I-295 that killed the driver of a Milk Truck after a car spun out in front of him. Authorities have been able to identify the person that died in the accident as Richard Clark, 70. It remains unknown why the car in front of the truck spun out. The tractor trailer driven by Richard Clark was carrying thousands of gallons of milk that solidified in the road. The milk froze after it hit the road because of the weather conditions outside. Cars can spin out in the middle of the road for a variety of different reasons. Sometimes blown tires can lead to a spin-out. A spin out may also occur after a car hits a slick surface in the road. It is the responsibility of state officials to make sure that roads are properly maintained and grated correctly. An improperly grated road can lead to the accumulation of liquids which may contribute to a spin out. After the milk truck crashed it spilled milk all over the roadway which then froze. Emergency medical workers responded to the accident quickly, but they were not able to revive Richard Clark. He was pronounced dead at the scene. TRUCK COLLISION ON HIGHWAY LEAVES THREE PEOPLE DEADBRONX, NEW YORK (December 27, 2016) – Three people were killed in a fatal truck accident on the Bronx Expressway when one truck rear ended another big rig, according to ABC 7 News. Authorities have been able to identify two of the people that were killed as Khalil White and Henry Walker.Police are saying that Khalil White and Henry Walker were both in vehicles during the rear end collision. The truck driver who was responsible for the accident said that the road was slick and that there was nothing that he could do. The identity of a third person who died in the collision has not yet been released. Police will continue to investigate what happened in order to determine liability.
