SIX PEOPLE SERIOUSLY INJURED
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (JANUARY 1, 2017) – A number of people were seriously injured when a fire started in a high rise building on 515 West 59th St., near 10th Avenue, according to NBC News.
Six people were seriously injured and in need of care. Another 18 people suffered minor injuries. At least 4 of those that were injured were firefighters.
The New York Fire Department is still investigating what caused the fire in the first place.
The New York Fire Department rushed to the scene of the accident. Smoke inhalation is one of most common injuries from a fire.
It can have a lasting impact on a person’s health if it is not treated.
