ESCALATOR ACCIDENT LEAVES 7 PEOPLE INJURED BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (December 20, 2016) – At least seven people were injured when an escalator malfunctioned at the Atlantic Terminal Mall. The shoppers were inside of a target when the accident happened. They were walking down the escalator when it was motionless. All of a sudden the escalator turned on and threw one of person near the top of their balance. That person fell forward hitting several other people and causing a chain reaction. Most of the people that fell sustained only minor injured. However, at least two people were seriously injured. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported people to a nearby hospital. The RMFW extends its thoughts and prayers to all of those who have injured in this accident.
