New York City residents may have been shocked to learn of the death of Italian jazz singer Daniela D’Ercole. The singer was killed after being run over by a car while she was walking in Manhattan.
The intersection collision between the singer and the vehicle happened on Nov. 10.The singer was attempting to cross 106th Street and Broadway when she hit by the vehicle. No details were given as to who was driving the vehicle or if any charges were filed. It is also not known whether the singer died at the scene or later on at a local hospital.
The singer was on a U.S. tour and was performing at various Manhattan jazz clubs. Her first album was released in 2008.
While the details of this fatal car crash are still unknown at this time, it is likely that many of her fans, as well as her family are grieving this sudden, unexpected loss.
